Dyno (rolling road)
We have a new state of the art rolling road facility, it features a hand built Dastek Dynometer; built to be reliable and highly accurate it can show differences even if you switch on the interior fan! (As seen in the diagram below)
It provides these readouts over and over again, allowing repeatable conditions.
The Dyno we have is suitable for front wheel drive, rear wheel drive and four wheel drive vehicles and is rated to 1500bhp!
It can be used for various tasks, including:
- 1. Power runs giving you a printout of your car’s torque and wheel horsepower figures
- 2. Live remapping of your engine control unit, whether it be the factory ECU or an aftermarket piggyback or standalone computer, such as the Dastek Unichip or an Apexi Power FC
- 3. Calibration of vehicle Speedos
- 4. Running in of newly built engines
- 5. Diagnosis of engine running issues, using state-of-the-art test equipment

As mentioned above it is suitable for 4WD, FWD and RWD cars, but what about cars with low front and rear spoilers, such as the Porsches we have to deal with, and cars modified to the max!
Well our Dyno lets even the lowest slung car get on the rollers (See image below)
