This is CSK Automotive’s MAX Audi R8, in to PT for 4 wheel alignment after a fully adjustable coilover kit was fitted.
This exciting project has a number of surprising elements, the power the car makes, just how fast and driveable the car is every day, the unusual but enjoyable VR6 engine sound and the age of our client who wanted this work done…he is a retired gentleman, let’s put it that way!
We were tasked with fitting a Rotrex supercharger to this Audi TT 3.2V6. There is no specific kit to fit this car so we custom designed and built the whole thing.
Take a look through the pictures further down to give you an idea what we did.
Next on the cards is a clutch upgrade for the DSG transmission.
For this Audi TTS we fitted a decat pipe and carried out a stage 2 ECU remap.
The unlocked BHP and torque is very impressive as you can see with the dyno graph below.
Check out this STEALTH MODE upgrade for an Audi A6. We fitted a Wagner Tuning Front Mount Intercooler.
This unlocks increased boost from it’s two turbos, plus enjoy a remap to suit!
(Post updated 21/02/17)
Intercooler and Turbo upgrade on Audi A5. We fitted an uprated intercooler and a modified hybrid turbo and now the car is ready for ECU remapping. More updates to follow.
(21/02/17) The A5 has now been remapped and produces a very healthy set of figures. On the road she pulls like a train!
328bhp & 476lbft
Our client Ozzy brought his beautiful Audi RS4 in, this time for a full service, inspection and installation of a carbon fibre front splitter.
This car has such an agressive stance with the adjustable air suspension anyway, now enhanced further with the new front splitter!
Today we had an Audi RS4 in for fitment of a Miltek cat back exhaust system.
You can see the fantastic performance gains from this naturally aspirated v8 below where we did a power run before and after.
Run 1 (stock): 438bhp & 314lbft
Run 2 (w/Miltek): 456bhp & 330lbft
On this Audi A5 TDI we carried out a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) delete, with software delete.
The reason for removing the DPF is to gain additional power, fuel efficiency and to prevent the large repair bill of replacing the DPF.
This extremely rare Audi S2 produces just under 630bhp which is also pretty rare!
Our client brought his Audi RS4 in to carry out brake disc skimming on the front brake discs.
This cost effective process evens out the brake disc surface, eliminating brake judder and prolonging the life of not only the braking system but other components linked to steering.

We had this Audi A4 3.0tdi in for an ECU remap. The power and torque produced is very reliable and makes the car much more enjoyable to drive.
Before: 257bhp / 383.8lb/ft
After: 290.9bhp / 413.7lb/ft
We changed a fuel pump cam follower on this Audi A3 2.0TFSI.
“It is a very cheap part and isn’t a great deal of labour to change but in the long run can save you a hell of a lot of money! We have seen them completely wear through (you can see this one is starting to wear) and kill cams! Which is expensive and costs much more in time. Not many people know about changing this little follower.”
Today we carried out 4 wheel laser alignment on an Audi R8
This ensures your tyres wear evenly, handling is improved and efficiency maximised.

Today we installed and set up a KW spring kit, this effectively turns the standard shock absorber into a height adjustable coilover!
Car sits planted and low while handling is improved.
This Audi A4 Avanti 2.0tdi unfortunately decided that after every 15 minutes of running it would completely stop.
We diagnosed the fault to being a faulty crankshaft sensor. This component is small and very difficult to gain access to, but once changed it solved the problem for the car and the customer.
See just how tricky it was to get the sensor changed.
Here we feature a 59′ plate Audi A5 Coupe with just over 100,000 miles on the clock. The timing chain stretched and jumped 6 teeth! This unfortunately took out the valves and caused damage to the cylinder head.
We stripped the engine, revealing the damage, we replaced the valves and machined the head as new and replaced the timing chain with a new one.
In the pictures you can see us re-gassing the air conditioning as we had to strip the front of the car down (hence no front bumper) to gain access to the engine.
See our progress pics of this lovely Audi RS6 with its monster twin turbo v8 engine this car really flies but handling can be improved…
We recommend this Bilstein B14 Suspension Kit…
To install this kit you have to remove the Audi DRC (Dynamic Ride Control) System. We also upgraded the bushes to the Powerflex Black series, our customer is very happy with the end result and continues to enjoy driving his car.

Why I Love ECU Remapping
By Erkan Ali, Pistonhead and driving GOD! Well in my DREAMS!
The last 3 cars I have owned: BMW 330 M Sport, Audi A4 3.0 TDI and Renault Megane R26 were all remapped…
I am addicted…!
Let me tell you why; you see I like it when my car feels smooth, powerful and responsive, it really adds to my driving experience. Most importantly it makes me feel great…knowing my car is special to me. ECU remapping for an everyday car really adds something, and you even get a couple MPG’s extra if you are careful, which is no bad thing.
With my BMW, gear changes became smoother and the car perked up a bit, as some of you will know the BMW 330 M Sport (E46) is a heavy car. As well as a remap I changed the air filter to K&N, which helps the car to breath better, along with an excellent quality engine oil. It all adds up to a car that feels just that bit more special and the good news is I did not have to spend a fortune.
Here is the crazy part
If you have a turbo car, especially a turbo diesel, the car does not improve, it transforms!
When we remapped the Audi A4 3.0 TDI, that V6 diesel became a monster….no really. I would be driving down the road and look down at the speedo and boy it was shocking how much faster and more responsive the car had become, plus on long trips I would get 40 plus MPG, on one outing I got 48MPG, incredible!
So Matthew if you are thinking about remapping your ECU don’t get hung up with BHP and Torque, focus on how the car will make you feel, it’s in the everyday driving a remapped car really comes into its own.
