Range Rover Servicing, Diagnostics & Repair in London

The Range Rover is a genuine design classic, every bit as refined as it is capable, and just as at home on a London street as on the mud and mountains it was built for. It is also a sophisticated machine, so you will not want to trust its servicing and repair to anyone less than a specialist.

From the full-size Range Rover to the Sport, Velar, Evoque, Discovery and Defender, our experienced team treats your Land Rover with the care it deserves, using OE or OE-equivalent parts and following the correct service schedules to the letter. Most customers pay around half of main-dealer prices, and your warranty stays intact.

Range Rover issues we know inside out

Range Rovers and Land Rovers are wonderful vehicles that reward proper, knowledgeable care. Here is some of what we see day to day across the range, and how we keep these vehicles healthy and reliable.

Air suspension (EAS)

Most Range Rovers ride on electronic air suspension, and after roughly seven to ten years the air springs perish, the compressor wears from overwork, and the valve block or height sensors start to play up. The usual signs are a car that sits low or unevenly, a compressor that runs constantly, or a suspension fault message on the dash. We pinpoint air leaks, replace air springs, compressors, valve blocks and height sensors, clear corrosion at earth points that causes false faults, and recalibrate ride height so the car sits and rides as it should.

Electrical & diagnostics

Range Rovers are known for electrical gremlins, from a frozen or glitching infotainment screen to parking-brake faults, body control module issues and parasitic battery drain that flattens the car when it is parked. We run professional dealer-level diagnostics to read every module, trace wiring and earth faults, sort the electronic parking brake, address software and coding, and cure the battery drains that leave you stranded.

V8 petrol (supercharged 5.0)

The supercharged 5.0 V8 is a fabulous engine that needs respect. The well-known weak points are timing chain stretch, worn plastic guides and failing tensioners, often between 60,000 and 80,000 miles, along with timing-cover oil leaks and a hard-worked cooling system. We carry out timing chain, guide and tensioner replacement, fix oil leaks, overhaul radiators, water pumps and thermostats, and keep these engines strong with correct-spec oil services on a sensible interval.

Diesel (TDV6/SDV6)

The 3.0 TDV6 and SDV6 diesels are superb when looked after, but the narrow-bearing crankshaft can suffer if oil quality or servicing slips, so a rhythmic knock or sudden oil-pressure drop should never be ignored. We also handle the sequential twin-turbo faults, EGR and breather carbon build-up, and DPF servicing and oil-dilution checks. Our approach is frequent quality oil changes, both filters every time, oil pick-up inspection, and keeping the EGR and breather systems clean to protect the engine.

Drivetrain

Permanent four-wheel drive means a transfer box, front and rear differentials and a transfer (PTU) unit that all need healthy fluid to survive. A whine, drone, judder on slow turns or a transmission fault message usually points here. We diagnose transfer box and differential wear, carry out fluid flushes and services, and replace worn bearings and components before a noise turns into an expensive failure.
