Tesla Servicing & Repairs in London

From the Model 3 to the Model X, if you own a Tesla you are driving one of the most advanced cars on the road, so it is no wonder you are particular about who looks after it.

Caring for prestige and performance cars is a way of life for us. Our EV-trained team treats your Tesla with the attention it deserves, using OE or OE-equivalent parts and following Tesla maintenance guidance to the letter, typically for less than main service centre prices and without affecting your warranty.

Servicing, diagnostics and repair for your Tesla

We look after the full Tesla range with servicing & repair, auto electrical diagnostics, 4-wheel alignment, brakes and tyres. We follow Tesla maintenance guidance and use OE or OE-equivalent parts, so your warranty stays intact and your Tesla keeps performing as it should.

We service all Tesla models:

Popular Tesla services

  • Scheduled & routine servicing – brake fluid, coolant, cabin filters and a full inspection in line with Tesla maintenance guidance.
  • Brakes & caliper service – pads, discs and caliper cleaning and lubrication, essential on EVs where regenerative braking means the friction brakes are used lightly.
  • Auto electrical diagnostics – HV-safe fault-finding for charging, warning messages and electrical concerns.
  • 12V battery service – load testing and replacement of the low-voltage battery that powers the car’s systems.
  • 4-wheel alignment & geometry – protect tyre life and range, ideal for performance tyres and lowered cars.
  • Tyres & puncture repair – EV-rated tyres, rotations and correct load and speed ratings to suit your Tesla.
  • Air-conditioning & heat pump – performance checks, leak detection and refrigerant service for cabin and battery cooling.
  • Pre-purchase inspection & MOT prep – a detailed EV health report before you buy, sell or test.

Tesla servicing and the issues we know inside out

Teslas are superbly engineered, but like any car they have wear items and known weak points. Here is some of what we see day to day across the range, and how we keep these cars healthy.

Suspension & steering

The Model 3 and Model Y are well known for a knock or squeak from the front suspension, usually the upper control arm, where the ball joint seals let moisture in and the joint corrodes. We diagnose worn arms and bushes and replace them with correct parts and torque settings, and we check the front lower control arm fasteners covered by Tesla’s own bulletins. On the Model S and Model X, the air suspension air springs perish over time and the compressor and valve block can fail from moisture and corrosion, leaving the car sitting low or uneven. We trace air leaks, replace air springs, compressors and valve blocks, and recalibrate ride height.

Brakes & regen

Because regenerative braking does most of the slowing, a Tesla’s friction brakes are used lightly, so the calipers and guide pins are prone to seizing from corrosion, especially through salted winters. Left alone this causes a clunk as the pads release, uneven pad wear and a sticking caliper that overheats. We clean and lubricate calipers, free off seized guide pins, and replace pads and discs as needed, the annual service Tesla itself recommends in areas where roads are gritted.

12V battery & electrics

The low-voltage battery, lead-acid on earlier cars and a lithium unit on later ones, powers the screens, lights and door handles and is a common cause of no-start and warning faults when it weakens. We load test and replace it, and carry out HV-safe diagnostics for charging concerns, contactor and onboard charger warnings, and the screen and software-related electrical faults that can leave features misbehaving.

Tyres & alignment

Instant torque and the weight of the battery mean Teslas can wear tyres quickly, often unevenly, if the geometry is even slightly out. We fit EV-rated tyres with the correct load and speed ratings, rotate them to even out wear, and carry out full 4-wheel alignment to protect tyre life, stability and range.

Air-conditioning & heat pump

On a Tesla the climate system does more than keep you comfortable, it also helps manage battery temperature, and the later cars use a heat pump for efficiency. We check air-conditioning and heat pump performance, detect leaks, and carry out refrigerant and desiccant service so cabin comfort and battery cooling both stay healthy.

Tesla servicing FAQs

Yes. Under Block Exemption rules an independent specialist can service your Tesla without affecting its manufacturer or used-car warranty, provided suitable parts are used and the work is carried out correctly, which is exactly what we do.
We handle the servicing and repairs an EV genuinely needs: brakes and caliper service, tyres, suspension and steering, 4-wheel alignment, 12V battery, air-conditioning and heat pump service, fluid changes and HV-safe electrical diagnostics. As a Tesla is fully electric there is no engine, oil or exhaust work to do, and we do not carry out high-voltage battery pack or drive-unit rebuilds.
Yes. Every Tesla has a low-voltage battery that powers the screens, lights and door handles, and when it weakens it is a common cause of no-start and warning messages. We load test it and replace it where needed, on earlier lead-acid and later lithium units alike.
Instant torque and the weight of the battery are hard on tyres, and even a slight misalignment makes wear worse and can reduce range. Correct EV-rated tyres, regular rotation and a proper 4-wheel alignment make a real difference to tyre life and stability.
Our workshop is on Sewardstone Road, serving Tesla owners across London, Hertfordshire and Essex. We also offer a free EV health check and a courtesy car.
